Summary of Position

The Registrar’s Office at Keene State College invites applications for an Information Systems Specialist. This position plays an important role maintaining data integrity and ensuring that activities and practices in the Registrar’s Office reflect best practices.

Under administrative supervision of the Registrar, the Information Systems Specialist will be actively involved in end-user support, training in the use of appropriate tools and reports, and communication of information, ideas, and instructions as it relates to academic records in the student information system.

Additional Responsibilities include:
• Provide direct support/redundancy for information technology in the Registrar’s Office including all office system modules, WebI report writer, NSC enrollment reporting, office, campus, and external constituency report generation, etc.
• Provide support to faculty, staff and student end-users of student information system interfaces (e.g., Self-Service) and reporting tools (e.g., WebI).
• Assess, develop, and maintain effective data integrity and quality control procedures related to office data entry and data management procedures.
• Assist with technology/software upgrade testing procedures.
• Maintain accuracy of the academic history record (i.e., academic transcript) including, but not limited to grade changes, New Start and Retake calculations, transcript notations, etc.

A Bachelor’s degree; a minimum of two years related experience; working knowledge with PCs, database applications, Windows environments, software installations; experience with report writing tools; proven communication and organizational skills; attention to detail; demonstrated ability to work in a self-directed manner and as team member; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with faculty, staff, students and various constituencies with a high level of reliability and confidentiality.

Additional Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with relational database software (e.g., Ellucian Colleague); proven computer skills; experience in a higher education institution; knowledge of FERPA; experience facilitating change; ability to foster and work effectively as a team member. Salary Information

Salary range: $47,920-$54,370, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical, dental, retirement, tuition, and paid time off.
