Summary of Position

With a client centered approach, assist in the management of a portfolio of client projects in collaboration with university partners to help define goals, scope and appropriate communications vehicles. Work under the direction of the Client Services Director, Brand Manager for Advancement and Executive Director of Marketing and others in Communications and Public Affairs in the production of superb communications that reflect the UNH brand across all media including broadcast, digital, print, OOH, and experiential. Facilitate communication across departments regarding projects under your management. Follow established processes to create and adhere to timelines, planning, resourcing, execution, change control, issue/risk management and effectiveness. Participate in the estimation process to determine direct costs and/or internal creative resources required for each project. Apply measurement data to improve the effectiveness of communication. Adhere to industry standards for project management best practices.

Additional Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree.
Three years of work experience in project management or related field. Experience with multiple communications media. High standards for creative output.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Self-motivated, highly organized and able to work effectively as part of a team. Awareness and understanding of the methods of communication, both existing and emerging.
Person must be energetic, client oriented, collaborative, creative and enthusiastic. Experience with InDesign, Photoshop, Word and Excel.

Duties / Responsibilities

Job Duties


Collaborates with clients, marketing staff and creative teams to plan or assist in the planning of communication projects, assist and monitor the production of deliverables on time and within the budget.


Works with colleagues to help develop communications processes and procedures.


Analyze performance data and contribute ideas to help create strategy for improving client satisfaction and effectiveness of communication.


Keeps up to date with new trends in communication and researches how new technology can be applied in support of the UNH brand.


Participate in relevant professional development and training at UNH and elsewhere as needed for the successful completion of these duties.
