Summary of Position

Under general direction of the Director of Human Resources – HRIS, to provide expertise and leadership in the information technology area and responsible for project management leadership, upgrades, act as liaison between HRIS and other USNH System departments, analyze, propose and explore solutions and alternatives to meet strategic objectives.

Bachelor’s degree and four years of experience in information technology field, Associate’s and six years, or combination of education and experience equal to eight years.

Computer application skills (AppMan, SQL, Visio, Webi, spreadsheet, word processing, PPT, email, browser software, data entry/retrieval/management and knowledge of software applications, etc.).

Advanced analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Organizational, objectivity, good judgment, attention to details and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and maintain effective working relationships with customers and vendors.

Additional Preferred Qualifications

IT experience in Higher Education.

Demonstrated experience with ERP systems.

Project leadership/management skills.

HRIS experience.

Job Duties

Duty/Responsibility

Manage overall project improvement leadership and supports all business needs as assigned. Work with vendors, stakeholders, programmers to design system specifications.

Manage the production scheduling, execution, and successful completion of production jobs.

Manage documentation: identify, procedures, guidelines, user guides for internal and external customers.

Troubleshoots, diagnoses problems, implements corrective action procedures.

Manage various HRIS jobs and projects (i.e., Unemployment Claims processing, Validation table maintenance: Major Codes & Institution Codes, Mailing Addresses, and Campus Email Addresses).

Provide support to Campus HR Offices as it relates to PeopleAdmin (Recruiting and Performance Management application). Assist and advise customers concerning implementation of technology appropriate for their needs; respond to customers IT issues; resolve issues, analyze complex IT issues and coordinate assistance to resolve issues when needed; explore and recommend a comprehensive range of solutions for a broad audience.

Create and maintain reporting system reports to provide data from information systems to produce on demand and ongoing reports.

Perform web-based research and/or documents searches in support of user requests and training.

Designs and produces reports and maintain records (i.e., PPTs, workflow diagrams, dashboards).

Travel to other institutions within USNH may be required.

Perform related duties as assigned.
